S/y Space, that I sailed across Caribbean and Pacific on. |
In short, I started off with a small boat together with a friend, then crewed on 2 other boats, and ended up buying a yacht in the Caribbean that I continued the trip on. The different parts of the trip are accounted for in the links below!
The circumnavigation is still ongoing, however with shorter sailing legs and with longer pauses in between. I go sailing with boats that need crew, need to be delivered, or need a skipper. I've now reached Auckland, and am looking forward to the continuation. The next step is sailing across Tasman Sea, and then into Indian Ocean. From there, I will decide which way to close the circumnavigation.
How did the idea of the sailing circumnavigation cross my mind?
The year of preparations.
