Climbing Slættaratindur, Faeroe islands

When waiting to sail off from Faeroes to Iceland, I went off to climb Slættaratindur, solo.

Not much of a challenge, I almost ran to the top. The ascent was fast, and the trip altogether took only a part of the afternoon, including the hitch-hike back. However, on the way there I met some other tourists who attempted the same summit, and were still struggling their ways up (or sitting down resting) when I was walking down. I made sure to help them, as they were missing the well-marked path that brings you to the top with less effort than negotiating the steep rocks.

Here are some photos from the top, it's worth the walk.

The clouds were passing by the summit, bringing in more cool and humid air.
